Cummins QSK & QST Fuel System Parts: A Sourcing Guide

The Cummins QSK and QST engines power some of the hardest-working machines on earth — mining haul trucks, excavators, marine vessels, drilling rigs and power generation sets. When one is down, every hour is expensive. This guide maps the Bosch fuel system parts that fit these engines, so you can find the right number fast.

Cummins’ high-horsepower engine family is built for heavy industry. The lineup spans the QSK19, QSK23, QST30, QSK38, QSK50, QSK60, QSK78 and QSK95, covering roughly 800 to 4,400 horsepower. The QSK60, for example, is a 60.2-litre V16 found in mining haul trucks and large hydraulic excavators; the QST30 is a 30.5-litre V12 used across construction, mining and industrial power. You will find these engines in mining, marine, oil and gas, rail and power generation applications worldwide.

Several of the QSK engines — the QSK19, QSK38, QSK50 and QSK60 among them — use Cummins’ Modular Common Rail System (MCRS), which relies on a high-pressure pump feeding common rail injectors. That makes the fuel injection components central to keeping these engines running reliably, and it means using correct, OEM-quality parts is not optional: on machines this expensive, a fuel system failure caused by a sub-standard part can be catastrophic.

Below are the Bosch fuel system parts in our catalogue grouped by engine. If you are holding a Bosch or OEM number, you can also match it directly — see our guide to reading Bosch part numbers.

Cummins QSK19

Cummins QSK38

Cummins QSK50

Cummins QSK60

Cummins QST30

The QST30 uses a nozzle-and-holder injection setup with an inline-style pump, so the parts differ from the common rail QSK engines:

A note on counterfeits

The QSK and QST engines are exactly the kind of high-value platforms that attract counterfeit parts — there have even been documented cases of fake Cummins high-horsepower engines and components in the field. On a mining or marine engine, a counterfeit injector or pump is not just a warranty risk, it is a serious reliability and safety risk. Before fitting any part, it is worth knowing how to identify a counterfeit Bosch injector.

Can’t see your exact number?

This guide covers the parts we stock for the QSK and QST family, but it is not the whole story — applications, variants and supersessions mean there are many more part numbers than any single list can show. If you have a Bosch number, an OEM Cummins number, or simply the engine model and serial, send it over and we will identify the correct part.
